This fish reminds me of the African butterfly fish. I used to have them as pets and I fed them crickets. Heres more info about it [link]

Yeah, they do make really good pets. They were the coolest fish I had. It was really cool when they ate crickets. I swear, they were like mini sharks! They would shake them really hard until their legs and wings came off and they would eat them whole. I had three of them so far, Harvey, Jaws, and Killer. I want to get another one but I have a betta right now and the betta would kill it

They sound so neat! I love sharks so I think that would be awesome. The coolest fish I had was a...goldfish XD

This is a gorgeous design. I'm generally a fan of fish, so that gets an automatic bias, but the detail you've put into this is fabulous. I love how the tips of the strands match the pattern on the creature's back, as well as how the same design branches onto both parts of the tail. The colors you've chosen are really organic; it adds an air of realism to an otherwise imaginary creature. Your lines are confident and clean - you've really done a nice job
